Awarded annually to a pediatric critical care fellow trainee to support attendance at the AAP Legislative Conference ($1000).
Presented to a SOCC scientific abstract presenters for best scientific, value-based care, and education abstracts in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine during the SOCC program at the AAP National Conference & Exhibition. Nurses are encouraged to apply. ($500 each)
Intended to recognize a SOCC member and senior leader in the field of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine who has made significant career accomplishments and contributed to the subspecialty for 25 years or longer post fellowship completion. The award is presented during the SOCC program during the AAP National Conference & Exhibition.
This $10,000 award is for pediatric critical care investigators submitting basic science or clinical research projects. It is contingent on available funding.
Small project awards for young investigators for projects devoted to education in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine and outcomes of quality and safety initiatives in the PICU. Fellows or junior faculty (5 years or less after completion of fellowship) are eligible for awards of up to $3,000 to $4,000 for one year.
Up to 3 travel awards will be awarded to Pediatric Critical Care Medicine trainees (Fellows and Residents) and nurses with the highest scoring abstracts submitted for presentation during the SOCC program at the AAP National Conference & Exhibition. Abstract submissions focusing on patient safety, education, and quality outcomes are encouraged. The travel grants are intended to support conference travel expenses. ($300 each)
