Advocacy Committee
This committee advocates for the importance of the developmental and behavioral health of children, youth, and families and workforce issues in partnership with AAP state and federal advocacy staff. One major activity of the committee is coordinating scholarships to the AAP Legislative Conference.
Communications Committee
This committee has two subgroups, one that supports the section newsletter which is sent to all section members twice a year and one that supports the design and content development for the members only collaboration site.
Education Committee
This committee focuses on educational activities, with a primary focus on developing proposals for sessions at the AAP National Conference and Exhibition.
Equity and Justice Committee
This committee focuses on addressing issues related to equity and justice in section activities/processes and in developmental-behavioral pediatric care more broadly.
Primary Care Committee
This committee focuses on issues of providing developmental and behavioral care in primary care settings and improving collaboration between primary care providers and developmental-behavioral pediatricians.
