Section Membership is open to the following Member types:

• Candidate Members
• Corresponding Fellows
• Fellows
• Fellowship Trainees
• Honorary Fellows
• International Members
• Medical Students
• National Affiliates
• Residents
• Senior Members
• Specialty Fellows

Dues/year:

Medical Students and Fellowship Trainees - $0*
Resident Members - $10*
All other eligible National member types - $30*
Section Affiliates - $60
(*in addition to national dues)

Section Affiliate membership

1. Physicians not eligible for membership in the AAP, whose practice, research, or administrative responsibilities include general inpatient pediatric care.
   
   Applicants must submit:
   • Copy of medical license or resume
     
     
2. Nurse Practitioners whose practice, research, or administrative responsibilities include general inpatient care.
   
   Applicants must submit:
   • Copy of their medical license
     
     
3. Certified Child Life Specialists whose practice, research, and administrative responsibilities include general inpatient care.
   
   Applicants must submit:
   • Copy of certification from the Child Life Council
