Specialty Fellows who are certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery or by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (including a pediatric component previously with ABPNS) and devote seventy-five percent (75%) or more of their practice in the neurosurgical care of infants and children.

Applicants must submit:

  • Copy board certification, and documented 75% of care devoted to children and infants on application

Candidate Members who have completed a fellowship in pediatric neurological surgery or whose practice is at least 75% pediatric neurological surgery while awaiting the certification examination of the American Board of Neurological Surgery or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

International Members must hold an unrestricted license to practice medicine in the candidate’s country of residence, have spent 5 years in practice, be a neurological surgeon with proof of good professional standing as well as demonstrated leadership in Pediatric Neurosurgery (which can include clinical, teaching, research, or administrative activities).

Fellowship Trainees who have completed training in an accredited neurological surgery residency program and are presently enrolled in an accredited pediatric neurological surgery fellowship program.

Resident Members who are presently enrolled in an accredited neurological surgery residency with an interest in pediatric neurosurgery.

Medical Students with an interest in pediatric neurological surgery.

National Affiliates who work in some aspect of neurological surgery.
