Contribute
Looking for an opportunity to contribute to the field of oral health in primary care? Join the Section on Oral Health and contribute by writing blog posts, composing Healthychildren.org articles, developing educational materials, and presenting at meetings.
Membership
The Section on Oral Health is open to a variety of medical and dental professionals. In order to engage in medical/dental collaboration we rely on the involvement of dentists, hygienists, pediatricians, nurse practitioners, physician's assistants, and others in our work. Please see below for the different membership categories and choose the one that best describes you. We look forward to welcoming you to the Section.
- Pediatric Resident or Medical Student Section Member
Yearly dues for pediatric residents and medical students are free. Visit the Member Center (log-in required) to join online (click on Resident Member, fill out the form, and choose oral health). - AAP Section Member
Open to pediatricians who are already members of the AAP. To join the Section, click here. Membership to the Section is only $20 per year in addition to national dues. - AAP Associate Member
Open to pediatric dentists who are currently members of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. To join the AAP and the Section, click here. Yearly dues are $403. - AAP Section Affiliate Member
Open to general dentists and retired pediatric dentists, allied health professionals including dental hygienists, dental assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, pediatric residents, and pediatric dental residents. To join the Section, click here. Yearly dues for allied health professionals are $60. Yearly dues for pediatric dentistry residents are $20. - AAP National Affiliate Member
