The AAP Section on Simulation and Innovative Learning Methods was established in July 2016 to create a forum for collaboration among pediatric educators and researchers engaged in the use of simulation and innovative learning methods.

The mission of the section is to support the education and research interests of AAP members engaged in simulation and innovative learning to attain optimal physical, mental, and social health and well-being for all infants, children, adolescents, and young adults.

All AAP members and allied health professions with an interest in simulation and innovative learning methods are welcome to join us in accomplishing the mission and goals of the section.
