Name: Carousel Care Campaign

Slogan: All around support and wellbeing in the NICU.

Join us to offer all around support and wellbeing to our NICU families, including not just intensive care but mental healthcare and overall wellness. With Carousel Care, we focus on the complete care that surrounds each child and their family.

Mission: To provide education, increase awareness, and engage AAP members in advocacy about FAMILY MENTAL HEALTH AND WELLNESS IN THE NICU.

Goals for NICU providers (KNOW, FEEL, and DO):

KNOW: Equip NICU team members with knowledge to be able to recognize family mental health and wellness needs

FEEL: so that staff feel empowered to help families with wellness and mental health needs

DO: to be able to advocate for families and connect them with mental health and wellness resources in a timely and effective manner.
