Mission

The Section on Urology was founded in 1971. The Section's primary goals are to:

  • Provide an educational forum for the discussion of problems and treatments relating to urologic disease;

  • Stimulate research in, and the teaching of, pediatric urology;

  • Disseminate knowledge of pediatric urology through Academy channels to the medical profession at large;

  • Serve in a consulting capacity to the Board of Directors of the Academy and to make recommendations for programs, policy statements, and other actions on matters relating to urology.
