COCIT Subcommittees

COCIT is committed to responding to the needs of its members and providing opportunities to meaningfully engage in the work of the Council. Much of the work of COCIT happens through a robust Subcommittee structure. Participating in a COCIT Subcommittee is a great way to enhance leadership skills and make a positive contribution to COCIT.

Education Subcommittee
Develop and implement informatics curricula and other educational offerings for pediatric trainees and practicing pediatricians and pediatric subspecialists.

Membership, Outreach, Engagement Subcommittee
Strengthen member engagement by building connections, creating meaningful informatics opportunities, and promoting the value of active involvement in COCIT to retain and recruit members.

National Conference and Exhibition
Plan and support COCIT presence and programming at the AAP National Conference and Exhibition.

Policy and Advocacy Subcommittee
Advocate for effective, accessible, readable policies to support pediatric care using informatics principles.  

Nominations Subcommittee
Recruit and select candidates to run for open seats on the COCIT Executive Committee.
