Subc​ommittees

Nominating Committee: Responsible for soliciting and slating candidates for the election cycle  

• 2 year term, with work beginning around September/October and completing by mid-January each cycle.  
• Participation in 2 virtual meetings, with additional work completed between meetings.       

Education Committee: Responsible for assisting with topic identification and proposal development for the AAP National Conference, review of conference abstract submissions, and/or identifying new educational opportunities of interest to the membership

• 3 year term, begins in August/September.
• Preparation of National Conference proposals occurs between September and November.
• Review of abstract submissions occurs in the spring.
• Identification and development of new educational opportunities for membership is ongoing.

Membership Committee: Responsible for assisting the Executive Committee in supporting member recruitment and engagement

• Identification and development of member recruitment and engagement opportunities is ongoing.
