Care Coordination for ADHD

This course will discuss ADHD care coordination between parents, pediatric providers, behavioral health providers, educators, and community service providers. This course will provide pediatricians with practical models for ADHD care coordination in the pediatric setting.  Through this course, pediatricians and other pediatric health care providers will be able to enhance coordinated care of ADHD treatment across places of service, providers, and families as a way to minimize barriers and to improve patient outcomes.

Objectives

At the conclusion of the activity, the participant will be able to: 

1. Recognize tools for ADHD care coordination.  
2. Identify care coordination challenges across systems relevant to pediatric ADHD care.  
3. Identify strategies for coordinating ADHD treatment.  
4. Identify methods that teams can use to change how practices coordinate care for patients with ADHD.
