- Samantha Ahdoot, MD, FAAP, lead author of the AAP policy statement
About Climate for Health
The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) is a partner of ecoAmerica's Climate for Health program, a network of health leaders committed to protecting the health and well-being of Americans by leading on a path to a positive future for climate solutions. By being a part of Climate for Health, AAP commits to implementing climate solutions within its own organization, and working together to prepare, empower, and inspire members, staff, communities, peers, and the nation on climate change solutions.
AAP members, Chapters, and Districts are encouraged to visit Climate for Health's website for a suite of resources that enable individuals as well as institutions to lead by example by increasing climate-friendly activities in facility operations, and elevating their climate leadership by inviting their community to do the same.
