Hotel Reservations can be made beginning in early 2026.

Special group rates beginning at $219 per night, plus tax, for single or double occupancy, have been negotiated at the Kansas City Marriott Downtown. These rates represent substantial savings from published rates. The cutoff date for reservations at the group rate is July 7, 2026. The hotel will begin taking reservations in early Spring 2026.

A limited number of guest rooms have been reserved, and they are assigned based on availability (first-come, first-served). Please be aware that the room block may be filled prior to July 7, 2026; in such a case, neither the group rate nor guest room availability can be guaranteed. The AAP, therefore, recommends that you make your reservations as early as possible beginning in Spring 2026.

To accommodate as many course participants as possible, registrants will be permitted to reserve no more than two rooms in the AAP’s hotel room block. If rooms remain available in the AAP room block on July 8, 2026, registrants may reserve additional rooms as needed.

Any reservations not affiliated with a registered AAP course attendee or exceeding the two-room limit per attendee may be removed from the AAP room block, and the room rate will revert to hotel’s published rate.
