Peanut Allergies Have Plummeted in Children, Study Shows - New York Times

Some good news for subscribers to the New York Times! Our “Guidelines for Early Food Introduction and Patterns of Food Allergy” paper was featured on the front page of the New York Times on October 20, 2025.

Advice to feed babies peanuts early and often helped 60,000 kids avoid allergies, study finds - CNN

Exciting news! CNN reported on the “Guidelines for Early Food Introduction and Patterns of Food Allergy” paper as well as its findings that peanut allergies decreased significantly in children ages 0 – 3 years old after the LEAP Trial in 2015 recommended early introduction of peanuts.

Here, the AAP shares findings from the “Guidelines for Early Food Introduction and Patterns of Food Allergy” paper, led by Stanislaw J. Gabryszewski, MD, PhD, that was recently published in Pediatrics using data from our CER2 Program!
