The American Academy
of Pediatrics welcomes involvement from its members, healthcare providers, various
stakeholders, and anyone interested in learning more about ECHO.
Start an ECHO
As an ECHO Superhub, the AAP offers technical assistance and
training to organizations and individuals interested in starting a
pediatric-specific ECHO program. In addition to signing partnership documents,
you and your ECHO team will attend training (can be provided by the AAP) where
you learn how to build a successful ECHO program and implement the program in
your community. After training, you will be provided access to a library of
ECHO replication materials, as well as the global ECHO community. The AAP can
continue to provide technical assistance. For more information about starting
an ECHO, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Attend an ECHO
Pediatric ECHOs increase capacity for pediatric primary care
providers to identify, treat, and manage the care of their patients within the
medical home. Learn about various pediatric ECHOs and join as a participant
(“spoke”) to connect with specialty care providers and develop knowledge and
self‐efficacy on a certain disease or condition that meets your
learning interest or needs. A complete listing of ECHOs can be found here.
