Enrollment can be completed online during the checkout process. If you wish to auto-renew your membership in one lump sum, you can enroll by clicking the auto-renew toggle button once your renewal has been paid. If you wish to auto-renew by paying in monthly installments, simply click the auto-renew by installment checkbox on the first page of the checkout process. Members can also enroll by completing this secure form or by calling the AAP Member and Customer Care team at 866-843-2271.
No, the installment process is an overnight process that occurs once you are within 30 days of your membership renewal date. You will receive an email notification when your first installment is ready to be paid. All subsequent installments will be charged to the card used for the first payment.
Members have two weeks from the time the membership is converted to the installment to make the first payment. A reminder will be sent via text or email after 7 days of no payment. If payment still hasn't been received by the deadline listed in the reminder message, the installment plan will be removed. Your full membership dues will be added to your account.
