This guide is intended as a resource for pediatricians to support children and their families in addressing developmental and behavioral health conditions. This support may occur as families wait for an evaluation by a developmental-behavioral pediatrician, or it may occur in the longitudinal care provided by the pediatrician in the medical home. The term “children” represents the age space of infancy through adolescence and young adulthood.
