ChatGPT

Started by the company OpenAI, ChatGPT (or Chat Generative Pre-Trained Transformer) is a generative artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot. Generative AI, also called gen AI, is based on computer-generated networks of interconnected data (both old data and recently manufactured data). These large amounts of data are blended to produce a novel answer to questions that a user asks the chatbot. Gen AI systems like ChatGPT learn to generate answers for users that look like the data they were trained on.  

Users can receive answers to all kinds of questions and requests, from “What is a good recipe for crispy chicken parm?” to “Make me an outline for my history essay about the French Revolution.” Once a question or request is made, answers pop up quickly and are delivered in a conversational format. 

ChatGPT can be used on its website/desktop version or downloaded as a mobile app.
