The CYSHCN NAB is a group of multi-disciplinary members focused on providing recommendations to the CYSHCN field to improve outcomes for CYSHCN and their families.

About CYSHCN NAB

The American Academy of Pediatrics, in partnership with the Lucile Packard Foundation for Children’s Health, created the CYSHCN National Advisory Board (NAB) to help improve the system of services for CYSHCN and their families. NAB members represent several sectors that support and provide services to CYSHCN and their families, including families, young adults and those with lived experiences.

The goals of the NAB are to:

  • Identify priorities and related actions that will improve outcomes for CYSHCN and their families.
  • Provide guidance on policies whose adoption would encourage and facilitate coordination of services for CYSHCN and their families.
  • Ensure that the perspectives of families, young adults and individuals with lived experience guide the work of the NAB.
