Components of PEPP 5th Edition Training Solution

Pediatric Education for Prehospital Professionals™ (PEPP™) is a comprehensive education and training solution designed to prepare prehospital professionals to recognize, assess, stabilize, and manage ill or injured infants and children in the field.

Built around current pediatric emergency medicine and the realities of prehospital care, PEPP brings together evidence-based clinical content, a comprehensive provider textbook, interactive learning, hands-on skills training, simulation and case-based education, and continuing education opportunities.

The PEPP training solutions include:

PEPP Provider Courses: Blended learning courses for both Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) providers. PEPP BLS courses are geared toward EMTs and other basic level prehospital providers, while PEPP ALS courses are designed for Paramedics, AEMTs and other advanced level prehospital providers.

PEPP Textbook: A comprehensive reference covering the assessment and management of pediatric patients in the prehospital environment. The 5th Edition incorporates the 2025 American Heart Association and American Academy of Pediatrics CPR and ECC Guidelines and adds updated content in areas including neurologic emergencies, infectious disease, environmental and endocrine emergencies, toxicology, medications, procedures, and family-centered care.
