This is a special opportunity to engage directly with nationally recognized vaccine experts and receive real-time coaching using the most up-to-date vaccine communication strategies available. This no-cost, virtual learning collaborative is designed for pediatric providers and clinical teams. Through three 90-minute sessions, participants will: learn how to respond to vaccine misinformation and hesitancy with empathy and accuracy, practice communication strategies with direct feedback from expert faculty, gain tools to address vaccine questions in the context of evolving public health guidance, and connect and problem-solve with pediatric colleagues across the country. Interested in how to support youth and families with navigating digital media and youth mental health during health visits? The AAP Social Media and Youth Mental Health ECHO: Supporting Youth in Clinical Practice is a five-session learning collaborative to equip pediatricians, primary care providers, and youth-serving clinicians with the knowledge, resources, and strategies to address the impact of social media on youth mental health. Participants will explore key topics including recognizing the role of quality content, navigating family conversations, communicating effectively with youth and families, prevention and screening approaches, and resources. The AAP National Rural Adolescent and Child Health (NRACH) ECHO Training Center is recruiting Primary Care Clinicians and other health professionals to be a part of a 3-month Anxiety and Depression ECHO: Brief Interventions. This ECHO aims to build the capacity of primary care providers to provide quality behavioral and mental health care within the medical home setting, with a focus on anxiety and depression. The AAP hosts virtual meetings to share lessons learned, challenges, collaboration opportunities and best practices related to pediatric ECHOs. Contact us to join our pediatric ECHO learning collaborative and receive an invitation to our virtual meetings.
The AAP is excited to host this learning collaborative by the AAP National Rural Adolescent and Child Health ECHO Training Center (NRACH ECHO Training Center). This call is open to anyone who is currently running, or interested in learning more, about ECHO programs focused on the rural pediatric population. We will share best practices and challenges and learn about each other’s work. This learning collaborative meets at 10:00 – 11:00 am Central Time on the following dates and topics: June 18, 2025 (Evaluation), and August 6, 2025 (Topic TBD).
