AAP Social Media and Youth Mental Health ECHO: Supporting Youth in Clinical Practice
Interested in how to support youth and families with navigating digital media and youth mental health during health visits? The AAP Social Media and Youth Mental Health ECHO: Supporting Youth in Clinical Practice is a five-session learning collaborative to equip pediatricians, primary care providers, and youth-serving clinicians with the knowledge, resources, and strategies to address the impact of social media on youth mental health. Participants will explore key topics including recognizing the role of quality content, navigating family conversations, communicating effectively with youth and families, prevention and screening approaches, and resources.
