Raise Money, Change Lives
Community is at the heart of the AAP. We’re able to elevate the health of children nationwide because of our 67,000 pediatrician members, all working toward the same goal. Tap into the power of your own community by organizing a fundraiser for children’s health.
Let's Get Started
Step 1: Decide How to Help
You choose what to do. Let your creativity guide you. Create a fundraiser or join an existing one. It only takes a few seconds to start.
Step 2: Share Your Link
Tell your friends and family about why this fundraiser is important for children. Use the shareable link you’re provided. The more people you tell, the quicker you’ll reach your goal.

Step 3: Feel the Love
See who’s supporting your fundraiser through your personal dashboard and keep track of your progress. We’ll send thank you notes, but a personal note from you is always better.

How Will You Support Children’s Health?
Fundraisers are a great way to drum up excitement around a cause while also raising money. Focusing on kids’ health gives you a natural opportunity to make the event playful and fun. Not sure where to start? Here are a few of our favorites around the AAP.
- Coordinate a group garage sale featuring kids’ toys and clothes
- Host a lemonade stand
- Ask friends and family to sponsor your bike ride across Iowa
- Wrap holiday gifts for a donation
- Organize a pet parade in your neighborhood
- Host a trivia or bingo night
- Use your talents: If you’re a photographer, for example, offer up family mini sessions.
- Make the AAP your beneficiary when you run a marathon
- Post a birthday fundraiser on social media
