“The CATCH planning grant that launched Healthy Kids NYC was pivotal in expanding our work, and it led us to our current Healthy Tomorrows Partnership for Children Program. As a result, we have made a lasting impact for families experiencing homelessness in our community.”

How We Put Your Donation to Work

Nearly 64 million kids visit pediatricians for well-child visits every year. That’s 64 million children growing up healthier and stronger because of the AAP. Your donation funds cutting-edge training for doctors, big ideas for uplifting communities, and trusted resources for parents. Here’s how our different funds support children…

Now

A donation to the Friends of Children Fund says, “Use my money where the AAP needs it most.” Your support helps us protect children from gun violence, strengthen the pediatric workforce, prevent youth suicide and more.

In Crisis

Children are especially vulnerable to disasters. Developing brains process trauma differently. Smaller bodies need special medical supplies. Pollution, dust, and smoke are harder on growing lungs. The AAP Disaster Recovery Fund delivers urgent aid to children and the pediatricians who care for them.

In the Future

When you give to the Tomorrow’s Children Endowment (TCE), you’re making a promise to generations of children. TCE provides steady, sustainable funding that prepares the AAP to respond to whatever health care challenges arise, now and in the future.

Impact Stories

Big things happen when 67,000 pediatricians work together. See how the AAP transforms children’s health in the U.S. and beyond.
