With over4,000 members in our Section, we now have the opportunity to make extraordinary contributions to the field of pediatrics as osteopathic physicians. 

The goals of the Section include: 

  • Develop and promote pediatric osteopathic educational opportunities and resources; 

  • Advocate for pediatric osteopathic medicine and DO pediatricians; 

  • Develop and promote resources to support the professional needs of osteopathic pediatricians; and 

  • Support pediatric osteopathic research. 

  • Develop programs to support the advancement of osteopathic pediatrics professionally; in their careers both in and outside of the AAP organizations

  • Work collaboratively with other AAP entities to actively to improve the diversity of our section, the AAP and Pediatrics in general.
