The American Academy of Pediatrics is grateful to the many family and youth liaisons that inform the work of our programs, publications, and Committees, Sections, and Councils.

AAP national committees, which are appointed by and operate under the purview of the AAP Board of Directors, develop many AAP policies and are a trusted source of expert opinion on scientific principles and pediatric health care delivery.  AAP Sections and Councils are communities for members to join and connect with other professionals who share a pediatric subspecialty, surgical specialty, special area of interest or stage of career. These groups cultivate ideas and develop programs within their subspecialty or special interest that improve the care of infants, children, adolescents and young adults.

Below is a list of the current liaisons and the group with which they work. If you are interested in connecting with them, please contact us for assistance.
