Janice Lowe, MD, is Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the

Stanford University School of Medicine.  She was formerly

Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School and

Director of Education, Clerkship Director and Continuity Clinic

Director for the Department of Pediatrics at Massachusetts

General Hospital.  She has practiced in Chelsea, Massachusetts,

and East Palo Alto, California, communities which both have

large immigrant and Spanish-speaking populations.  She has

also worked overseas including the Stanford University Children

In Crisis Initiative in the Highlands of rural Guatemala.  Her

interests are in the delivery of health care services to culturally

diverse communities.
