Description

Support the mental and emotional well-being of your patients and families with this telephone triage resource based on current American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) policy and other evidence-informed recommendations.

Concerns related to mental and emotional health are common in the pediatric population and thus commonly encountered in pediatric practice. While mental health care, in the past, had been considered separately from physical health care and primarily in the purview of mental health specialists, increasingly, pediatric practices are implementing a more holistic approach, in which healthy mental development is an integral part of pediatric health care.
