In 2023, as part of the SOPT's commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion, the section offered grants to trainees to support and prioritize research, intervention, and education within communities and institutions addressing: health disparity/health equity, lack of diversity in medicine, or the climate crisis/environmental justice.
More information on the selected grantees and their projects will be coming soon. An application for the next year’s grant program will open in November 2024. Click here to learn about the work of our 2022 grantees (AAP member login required).
