Understanding the Needs of Latinos Impacted by Spina Bifida

In the winter 2023-2024, a qualitative study was conducted to better understand the health care experiences of Latinos with spina bifida in accessing care for their condition, as well as the experiences of Latino parents/caregivers of individuals with spina bifida in accessing care for their family members with spina bifida. The following PowerPoint presentation, with speaker's notes, highlights these findings and can be used to better inform clinicians caring for this population on existing challenges and gaps in accessing care and providing recommendations to improve care access.
