COURSE DESCRIPTION and LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Are you a primary care pediatrician experiencing an increase in patients presenting to your practice with various Developmental-Behavioral concerns? Are you a Developmental-Behavioral subspecialist interested in staying current in the field or preparing for recertification?
The 2026 Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics Course is designed to meet your needs. The course has been designed with content and specific presentations to meet the educational needs of primary care and subspecialist pediatricians and focuses on current information that can be employed immediately in their daily practices.

The new American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Pediatric Mental Health Education Center (PMHEC) seeks to equip pediatricians with the knowledge, confidence, and skills to care for their patients’ mental health. Thanks to support from the Morgan Stanley Foundation, a limited number of scholarships are available for clinicians working in Medically Underserved Areas (MUAs) after the completion of this course and associated evaluations. These $1,000 scholarships can help defray the costs of participation in this program. REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION
Your registration will be confirmed. Please contact the AAP Registration Area if you do not receive a confirmation within 7 days. The AAP cannot be responsible for expenses incurred by an individual who is not confirmed and for whom space is not available at this course. The AAP reserves the right to cancel a course due to unforeseen circumstances or to limit enrollments, should attendance exceed capacity. Course educational sessions are open only to registered attendees.

CANCELLATION:
