Description and Learning Objectives

Join colleagues from across the country for the inaugural AAP Pediatric Urology Summit, a new meeting experience designed for pediatric urologists, trainees, advanced practice providers, nurses, and allied health professionals committed to advancing the care of children with urologic conditions.

Unlike traditional scientific meetings, the Summit will offer a dynamic, practical, highly interactive forum where participants can learn from one another, challenge assumptions, share real-world approaches, and leave with insights that immediately improve the way they care for their patients.

About the Hotel:
The DoubleTree Scottsdale Paradise Valley is a favorite destination in the heart of Scottsdale, only a short distance from Old Town Scottsdale, with warm hospitality, resort-style comfort and amenities and the vibrant desert charm that Arizona is known for. The hotel will begin an exciting new chapter, rebranding as the Ranch House Scottdale in late 2026. Guests can look forward to the same welcoming experience with a new and refreshing identity (hotel will still be a Hilton property).

Group Rate Information:
Special group rates beginning at $289 per night, plus tax, for single or double occupancy, have been negotiated at the hotel. These rates represent substantial savings from published rates. The cutoff date for reservations at the group rate is March 19, 2027.

Note: You must mention that you are part of the Urology Summit to receive discounted rates or book through the link provided. The hotel is unable to change the room rate to the AAP rate if booked outside of the block.

The resort charges a daily resort fee, in addition to the room rate for use of their amenities. The AAP has negotiated that this resort fee will be INCLUDED for all AAP reservations (a savings of $30 per day). Guests must book reservations within the group block to receive the included resort fee.

Guest rooms are reserved and assigned based on availability (first-come, first-served). Please be aware that the room block may be filled prior to March 19, 2027; in such a case, neither the group rate nor guest room availability can be guaranteed. The AAP, therefore, recommends that you make your reservations as early as possible.

Any reservations not affiliated with a registered AAP course attendee may be removed from the AAP room block, and the room rate will revert to hotel's rate.

Ground Transportation:
Taxis and ride share services are available for the ride between Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport (PHX) and the hotel. The ride is approximately 20 minutes.

Parking:
Self-parking is available at the hotel complimentary for AAP guests (a savings of $15 per night). Valet parking is available for an additional nightly fee.
