Description

​The aim of this activity is to improve diagnostic knowledge and decrease diagnostic errors in the ambulatory setting through brief educational videos. The videos will be supported by an infographic describing actionable best practices, tools, and resources that pediatricians can use to implement the learnings from each video.

  • Provide clinicians with information on the main contributing factors to diagnostic errors and a systematic framework of proven best practices to address these common causes using an equity and patient-centered lens to improve cognitive skills and systems-related factors.
  • Provide focused information on the most common pediatric conditions with the highest opportunity for improvement in diagnostic excellence.
