Description

The PHM Directors Preconference Program is the only in-person opportunity to bring together pediatric hospital medicine (PHM) fellowship leadership from across the country to collaborate and engage in high-yield medical education. It provides a dedicated forum for program directors and faculty to share and standardize best practices in curriculum design, evaluation, ACGME requirements, and faculty development. These in-person connections have been vital to the growth of PHM fellowships and are essential for aligning and standardizing best practices across regions. The meeting also provides a space for subcommittees to work collaboratively, share ongoing projects, and foster regional partnerships that participants can bring back to their home institutions.
