Session Title:
Partnering to Transform Outcomes in Noncommunicable Diseases (NCDs) and Child Injury in Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs):  Insights from the International Community Access to Child Health (ICATCH) Program

Description:
This session will explore how NCDs and injuries impact child health in LMICs. We will showcase two programs from among the 65 ICATCH-funded projects spanning 35 countries over 10 years: one aimed to destigmatize epilepsy in Uganda, the other focused on reducing childhood poisonings in Ghana. The session will describe how ICATCH leverages partnership and modest funding to help pediatricians and child health workers in LMICs implement solutions to child health challenges. The Hillman-Olness Award for Lifetime Service and Lasting Contributions to Global Child Health will be presented, along with selected scientific abstracts. Awards will be given for best poster and best global health photograph
