About the Council
Children are a significant portion of the population and infants, children, adolescents, and young adults have unique physical, mental, behavioral, developmental, communication, therapeutic, and social needs that require advance consideration in disaster planning. The council will help to encourage children's needs to be considered and addressed in all aspects of disaster preparedness and recovery. Please consider partnering with these members by joining this new Council.

The Council Executive Committee is hoping for a broad base of members who represent various perspectives and disciplines. Please note that there are no Council dues at this time.
