Council on Environmental Health The Council on Environmental Health (COEH) advises the Board of Directors, supports legislative initiatives, authors policy documents, and leads educational initiatives pertaining to environmental health and toxic exposures. Environmental Health ECHO The purpose of the Environmental Health ECHO is to increase clinician knowledge, comfort and competence in preventing or identifying, diagnosing, and treating environmentally-related health conditions in children and reproductive-age adults. Lead Exposure and Lead Poisoning Pediatricians play a key role in preventing lead exposure, identifying and treating lead poisoning and advocating for public health measures to address the problem. Children & Disasters Pediatricians can serve as expert advisors to local, state, and federal agencies and committees and play a key role in disaster and terrorism preparedness with families, children, and their communities.
