The Academy, through coordination with the CHIC and Council on Clinical Information Technology (COCIT), continues to monitor and provide feedback on activities related to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) and the Children's health Insurance Program Reauthorization Act (CHIPRA) legislation. State Advocacy

The Academy is committeed to help states advocate for pediatric specific HIT needs. Through collaboration with the Division of State and Government Affairs, the CHIC plans to develop resources for states and chapters to use when advocating for member practices.
