2024 President
Benjamin Hoffman is the 2024 President of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr Hoffman is a general pediatrician and Professor of Pediatrics at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital and Oregon Health and Science University. He majored in Anthropology at UC Berkeley, and attended Harvard Medical School. He completed residency training at Seattle Children’s Hospital.
At Doernbecher, he is Vice-Chair for Community Health and Advocacy, Director of the Oregon Center for Children and Youth with Special Heath Needs, and Director of the Child Injury Prevention Program.
