2026 President-Elect
Dr McFadden is a Board-Certified Pediatrician and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is a Professor of Pediatrics at Emory University School of Medicine, where she serves as Interim Chief of General Pediatrics and Director of Clinical Initiatives with PARTNERS for Equity in Child and Adolescent Health. Dr McFadden received her MD from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and her MPH from the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University. She completed her residency in Pediatrics at Emory University and has been an active member of the Academy, serving as President of the Georgia Chapter and on the Executive Committees of the Council on Early Childhood and the Council on Injury, Violence, and Poison Prevention. She has also been active in her community, serving as the Medical Director of Reach Out and Read Georgia and as an appointed member and former chair of the Georgia Board of Healthcare Workforce. Dr McFadden has been a tireless advocate for children, families, and the pediatricians, pediatric medical subspecialists, and pediatric surgical subspecialists who care for them.
