COVID-19 Safety Precautions
As this course approaches, the AAP will seek guidance from local and national public health experts on implementing the necessary precautions to ensure the health and safety of all attendees, staff, and local community members.
ENC 1 is one of the modules of the new WHO Essential Newborn Care (ENC) Course, created by WHO in collaboration with the American Academy of Pediatrics. ENC 1, an updated version of Helping Babies Breathe, is an evidence-based, hands-on educational program to teach essential newborn care from birth to 60 minutes after birth, including neonatal resuscitation, to those who attend births in resource-limited settings. This one-day course is designed to develop new ENC 1 facilitators who will make a commitment to cascade the training to/with healthcare providers in low-resource settings. This course is suitable for doctors, nurses, midwives, and allied health professionals.
Registration:
The registration cost is $500 (price includes printed learning materials and the NeoNatalie complete kit. Hot Topics registration is not required to be able to register for and attend this course.
