Description & Learning Objectives
Pediatric Hospital Medicine Cram (PHM Cram) is a virtual one-day course that is an intensive review and question-based preparation for the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) pediatric hospital medicine board examination. The course content is guided by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) Content Outline.

Learning Objectives:
By attending the 2024 PHM Cram, you will:

  • Increase your ability to diagnose and manage patients by analyzing cases with the faculty.
  • Review core competencies and High Yield topics toward preparing for ABP PHM certifying exam.

COURSE HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE:

  • General Session Presentations: Using audience response technology, these sessions are designed to address a variety of hospital pediatrics topics in a question-based format.
  • High-Yield Lectures: Sessions with key topic areas in hospital pediatrics including head and neck, hematologic/oncologic, and more!
  • Breakout Sessions: Audience-driven sessions address topic areas for which additional review and in-depth discussion are needed.
  • Test-Taking Strategy Session: Tips and strategies to use when preparing for the board exam.

After the course, access all the sessions recorded live during the course and watch them on demand. Additional on-demand recordings will also be available.

Registration Confirmation
Your registration will be confirmed. Please contact the AAP Registration Area if you do not receive a confirmation within 7 days. The AAP cannot be responsible for expenses incurred by an individual who is not confirmed and for whom space is not available at this course. The AAP reserves the right to cancel a course due to unforeseen circumstances or to limit enrollments, should attendance exceed capacity. Course educational sessions are open only to registered attendees.

CANCELLATIONS
Registration cancellations for this course must be received in writing at registration@aap.org no later than October 3, 2024 to receive a refund. An administrative fee of $50 will be deducted. Refunds will not be issued if the pre-course, on-demand sessions, or materials have been accessed by the registrant at any time.

The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

This program is accredited for 15.25 NAPNAP CE contact hours of which 0.00 contain pharmacology (Rx) content, (0.00 related to psychopharmacology) (0.00 related to controlled substances), per the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP) Continuing Education Guidelines. The AAP is designated as Agency #A17. Upon completion of the program, each participant desiring NAPNAP contact hours must send a completed certificate of attendance to ce@napnap.org. Payment of $15 for NAPNAP members and nonmembers is required via credit card for all NAPNAP contact hour requests. Keep this certificate for your records for six (6) years. Requests for duplicate certificates should be made to the AAP.

PAs may claim a maximum of 15.25 Category 1 credits for completing this activity. NCCPA accepts AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ from organizations accredited by ACCME or a recognized state medical society.
