Welcome to the American Academy of Pediatrics Safe Infant Sleep in Early Care and Education (ECE) course. The content created for this course is tailored to those who care for infants, mainly early educators such as family or center-based childcare providers, Early Head Start program staff, child care health consultants, directors, and health managers.

• Explain what the risks are for Sudden Unexpected Infant Deaths (SUIDs).
• Understand the importance of developing Safe Infant Sleep policies in early education settings.
