Concurrent Seminar SelectionYou can attend one concurrent seminar each day in the subspecialty of your choice. To allow more informal interaction with the faculty, attendance in each seminar is limited and is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Confirmation of your concurrent seminar registrations will be included in your on-site registration packet. Recordings of all concurrent seminars will be available online to all registrants after the live course.

Special group rates beginning at $239 per night, plus tax, for single or double occupancy, have been negotiated at The Williamsburg Lodge. These rates represent substantial savings from published rates. The cutoff date for reservations at the group rate is May 20, 2024.

A limited number of guest rooms have been reserved, and they are assigned based on availability (first-come, first-served). Please be aware that the room block may be filled prior to May 20, 2024; in such a case, neither the group rate nor guest room availability can be guaranteed. The AAP, therefore, recommends that you make your reservations as early as possible.

To accommodate as many course participants as possible, registrants will be permitted to reserve no more than two rooms in the AAP’s hotel room block. If rooms remain available in the AAP room block three weeks prior to the start of the course, registrants may reserve additional rooms as needed.

Any reservations not affiliated with a registered AAP course attendee or exceeding the two-room limit per attendee may be removed from the AAP room block, and the room rate will revert to hotel’s published rate.

Ground Transportation
Ride share and taxi service is available from Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport, Richmond International Airport and Norfolk International Airport. Shuttle transportation is also available from all airports through Tidewater Coach.  

Parking
Valet and self-parking are available at the hotel for a fee.

Child Care
The hotel does not provide childcare services or a kids club.

Electronic Course Syllabus
The syllabus will be available online to all attendees for download in advance of and after the course. Printed copies of the syllabus will not be available.

Registration Confirmation
Your registration will be confirmed. Please contact the AAP Registration Area if you do not receive a confirmation within 7 days. The AAP cannot be responsible for expenses incurred by an individual who is not confirmed and for whom space is not available at this course. The AAP reserves the right to cancel a course due to unforeseen circumstances or to limit enrollments, should attendance exceed capacity. Course educational sessions are open only to registered attendees.

Worry-free Registration/Cancellations
We understand that due to COVID-19, you may be hesitant to register for an in-person event, so we have updated our cancellation policy. You may cancel your course registration at any time until one week prior to the start of the course, for a full refund of your registration fee. All registration changes/cancellations must be sent in writing to registration@aap.org by 12:00pm CT on June 13, 2024. Refunds will not be issued if any course, materials have been accessed by the registrant at any time.

The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

This program is accredited for 21.50 NAPNAP CE contact hours of which 0.00 contain pharmacology (Rx) content, (0.00 related to psychopharmacology) (0.00 related to controlled substances), per the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP) Continuing Education Guidelines. The AAP is designated as Agency #A17. Upon completion of the program, each participant desiring NAPNAP contact hours must send a completed certificate of attendance to ce@napnap.org. Payment of $15 for NAPNAP members and nonmembers is required via credit card for all NAPNAP contact hour requests. Keep this certificate for your records for six (6) years. Requests for duplicate certificates should be made to the AAP.

PAs may claim a maximum of 21.50 Category 1 credits for completing this activity. NCCPA accepts AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ from organizations accredited by ACCME or a recognized state medical society.
