What motivates you to seek this position?

My leadership journey within the AAP started when I served as the COFGA liaison from SOPT, my first opportunity to interact with our Academy’s leaders. The importance of who we choose to lead was solidified through this experience. Since then, I have had wide-ranging leadership experience within the Academy at the chapter, district and section level that informs my unique perspective on what qualities our future leaders should possess. Additionally, as an early career physician and subspecialist, I will feel the impact of the Academy’s work for a long time, and I am motivated to ensure that we cultivate strong leadership that will take us into the future.
