Why voters should choose you ?

I have been a representative for the Academy at the COVID-19 Health Equity Task Force commissioned by President Biden and primarily work with pediatric primary care and subspecialists and other fields (nursing, EMS, mental health) to advocate for child’s health most recently with a focus on mental health, gun violence and pandemic response. I believe that it is timely to bring a disaster management expert to the Board that has experience at the local, regional and federal level in building coalitions, advocating for children and leading teams to improve care for children within a mitigation, prevention, response and recovery framework.
