Why voters should choose you
I believe passionately that the AAP is the professional home for all pediatricians—general or subspecialty. The SONPM is the largest subspecialty section and is housed entirely within the AAP. I have also engaged actively in chapter/district activities. I’ve enjoyed leadership roles at NICU, department, children’s hospital and state health department levels, I know that advocacy and health policy are important strategies for improving the welfare of children. I’ve practiced in New Mexico and Alaska, and currently work in inner city Chicago, I understand the challenges of underrepresented populations and believe efforts to address disparities will “float all the boats.”
