Dr. Porto is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Associate Chief of Pediatric Gastroenterology at Yale University. He is the medical director of the Yale Pediatric Celiac Program. He has won numerous awards including the Norman J. Siegel Award at Yale University in 2015 for leadership and providing outstanding clinical care as well as Physician of the Year during his time at Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital. He has been named Castle Connolly Top Doctors since 2012. Dr. Porto is the co-author of the Pediatrician's Guide to Feeding Babies and Toddlers and contributes articles to numerous national medical societies, online health blogs and news outlets.

Dr. Ehwerhemuepha leads the research data science services at CHOC together with a team of investigators, providers and research administrators. The computational and data sciences team he leads has been tasked with the mission to provide research data as well as computational and data science research services to clinicians and associates at the hospital. The goal is to make CHOC a leading national destination for computational and data science research in pediatrics. His experience encompasses biostatistical, classical machine learning and artificial intelligence applications in pediatrics.
