She helps pediatricians optimize their care for children affected by obesity as the Chair of the American Academy of Pediatrics Section on Obesity. She teaches college students about nutrition as an adjunct assistant professor UCLA Fielding School of Public Health. She helps ensure parents receive quality information and advice on raising healthy children as a member of the Parents Magazine Board of Advisors.

Eric C. Eichenwald, MD, FAAP, is a Professor of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and Chief of the Division of Neonatology at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. He has served on a number of AAP committees including the NRP Steering Committee and the Committee on Fetus and Newborn. He is current Chair of the sub-board for Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine of the American Board of Pediatrics.

Khadijia Tribié Reid, MD, FAAP, is a mother, wife, pediatrician, and public health advocate. She lives in coastal Wilmington, NC, with her husband and two daughters. Dr. Tribié is the Pediatric Medical Director of Wilmington’s only Community Health Center. She also serves as the Vice Chair of New Hanover Regional Medical Center’s Department of Pediatrics.
