Dr. Lora Spiller is a child abuse pediatrician and an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at University of Texas Health San Antonio. She is also the medical director of the Forensic Nurse Examiner Program at CHRISTUS Children’s Hospital in San Antonio. She is responsible for the medical evaluation of children who have been suspected victims of physical abuse, neglect, and sexual abuse. Dr. Spiller is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in both general pediatrics and child abuse pediatrics.  

Anupama Rao Tate, DMD

Dr. Anupama Rao Tate is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the George Washington University School of Medicine. She is a faculty member in the Division of Pediatric Dentistry in the Goldberg Center for Community Pediatric Health at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, DC, where she serves as the Director of Oral Health Advocacy. She currently serves as Secretary to the Board of Directors for the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.  She is a member of the advisory board to the Research and Policy Center of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD). She is a member of the Pediatric Review Committee of the Commission on Dental Accreditation. She has previously served as At- Large Trustee for the Board of Trustees of the AAPD and member of the Executive Committee of the Section on Oral Health to the American Academy of Pediatrics. 

Dr. Irma Ugalde, MD, FAAP

Dr. Irma Ugalde is a pediatric emergency medicine physician transitioning from her role as Associate Professor, Director of Research for the Section of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at McGovern UTHealth Medical School in Houston, TX, to Section Chief of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at the University of Chicago, Comer Children's Hospital to begin in the fall of 2024
