Ben Hoffman, MD, FAAP, is a general pediatrician and Professor of Pediatrics at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital and Oregon Health and Science University. At Doernbecher he is Vice-Chair for Community Health and Advocacy, Director of the Oregon Center for Children and Youth with Special Heath Needs, and Director of the Child Injury Prevention Program. He has served as chair of the AAP Council on Injury Violence and Poison Prevention and director of the Community Pediatrics Training Initiative.
